The Cal Fire crew in Shasta County, California helped Cascade Fire Equipment design the Shasta Tool. The combination of a 4 tined rake and a sharp, curved shovel blade make it a highly effective tool for digging, clearing brush, and building fire lines. The Shastina Tool is a smaller, more compact version of the Shasta Tool with a shorter handle and a smaller blade; making it lighter, easier to carry, and easier to use.
