Sales Tax Policy

SALES TAX

Cascade Fire Equipment is required to collect sales tax for items purchased and shipped to the states of California and Washington.

The amount of tax charged on your order will depend on the destination of the shipment and will reflect applicable state and local taxes.

If you feel that you have been incorrectly charged sales tax, please contact us at 800-654-7049.

TAX-EXEMPT SALES

If you are a government or other entity exempt from sales tax, you must establish an online account and contact us to assign tax exempt status to your account. You can also call our sales office and we can establish an online tax-exempt account for you. Once this is done, all orders placed using the email on your account will be tax exempt. If you place an order before establishing a tax-exempt customer account and are charged sales tax, please contact us and we will refund the sales tax charged to your payment method.

GOVERNMENT SALES

Our Strike Team Fire Gear clothing and gear, slip-on units, and additional products manufactured by Cascade Fire Equipment are available at government contract discount pricing.
