Relief Valves are used to automatically bypass discharge from pump when nozzle is shut off or pressure becomes excessive. When pressure is relieved or the nozzle is opened, the valve automatically closes, returning discharge to the hose line. The hand wheel allows bypass pressure to be set at a desired pressure.
