Amerex 240 2.5-Gallon Pressurized Water Fire Extinguisher

The Amerex 240 Pressurized Water Fire Extinguisher provides dependable Class A fire protection using the cooling, soaking, and penetrating properties of water. Its long discharge range and extended discharge time make it well suited for facilities, fire departments, shops, schools, offices, and other locations with ordinary-combustible fire hazards.

The 2.5-gallon stored-pressure extinguisher features a polished stainless-steel cylinder, chrome-plated brass valve, hose and nozzle discharge system, and a 2A UL rating.

CLASS A FIRE APPLICATIONS

The Amerex 240 is intended for Class A fires involving ordinary combustibles such as wood, paper, cloth, and many plastics. Water extinguishers should not be used on energized electrical equipment or flammable-liquid fires.

IMPORTANT

The Amerex 240 ships empty. The extinguisher must be properly filled, pressurized, inspected, and maintained in accordance with Amerex instructions, NFPA 10, and applicable local requirements before being placed into service.
