Strike Team® Face & Neck Shrouds

Strike Team® Face & Neck Shrouds are designed to protect Wildland Firefighters from radiant heat without compromising work performance or comfort. For maximum protection, firefighters should adjust the shroud to a comfortably loose fit.

The front of the shroud is secured with a self-fastening hook & loop closure, and the Face & Neck Protector can easily be attached to your helmet, providing increased protection against heat. Fastening strips are included for use with a variety of helmet brands.

3 STYLES OF STRIKE TEAM® FACE & NECK SHROUDS

• STANDARD shrouds are available in high-visibility yellow 6 oz. Nomex® or 7 oz. Tecasafe® Plus and include 3 self-adhesive fastening strips.
• DELUXE shrouds are made from 6 oz. Nomex® shell material with flame-resistant Indura® Ultra Soft® cotton inner-shell lining for maximum protection.
  
• SUPER DELUXE shrouds are constructed for greater coverage and attach directly to your suspension for a more secure and comfortable fit. Made from 6 oz. Nomex® with a 5 oz. Nomex® liner on interior, or 7 oz. Tecasafe® Plus shell material with a Tecasafe® Plus liner.
  

FABRICS

Nomex® is built for flame resistance. The Nomex® fabric fibers are durable, comfortable, and lighter in weight than their cotton counterpart. This unique combination of properties means that the firefighters who rely on it can be comfortable, while remaining safe and protected from the hazards they face on the job every day.

Tecasafe® Plus delivers superior electric arc and flash fire protection in a comfortable, breathable, and lightweight fabric. It performs to the NFPA 70E and NFPA current standards and lasts longer than FR treated fabric. The unique FR protection comes built-in, and won’t wash out or wear out. Superior moisture management because of special cellulosic fiber content. Exceptional durability with outstanding abrasion resistance and better strength retention after multiple commercial washes. Retains its like-new look and maintains permanent pressed appearance. ANSI 107 and CSA Z96 compliant for low visibility environments.
