The Council Tool McLeod Wildland Firefighting Tool combines a heavy-duty rake with a sharpened hoe blade for clearing surface fuels, digging, scraping, and constructing fireline. The dual-purpose head allows crews to rake pine needles, duff, leaves, and loose debris or turn the tool over for grubbing and working soil.
Built in the USA with a heat-treated high-carbon steel head and a 48" American ash handle, the Council Tool McLeod is produced in accordance with USDA Forest Service specifications for professional wildland firefighting use.
