The Red Head Brass Brute X-Pander is a compact hand-pump hose coupling expander built to create snug, uniform, secure hose-and-coupling attachments. It accommodates 1-inch through 3-inch couplings and is designed for fire departments, forestry services, small distributors, ski areas, and other hose-service operations.
Its all-in-one design uses fewer parts and requires no hydraulic connections. The machine can be used in-house or mounted in a service van for field repairs. Compared with the previous Red Head Brass hand-pump model, the Brute X-Pander weighs 32% less and requires 50% fewer strokes to expand and 75% fewer strokes to release.
