The Red Head Brass Brute Model 2 Power Expander is a bench-model electric hydraulic machine designed for attaching expansion-ring couplings to fire hose. Built for hose manufacturers, high-volume distributors, and fire departments, it accommodates 1-inch through 6-inch couplings.
The Brute Model 2 combines a 3,000 PSI hydraulic pump, a 38,000 lb thrust cylinder, and foot-pedal control for efficient hose-coupling installation. A manually adjustable external pressure-relief valve allows the machine to be configured for different coupling and hose requirements.
