Strike Team® Women’s Tecasafe® Plus Wildland Fire Pants

Tecasafe® Plus Strike Team® Women’s Pants were developed in response to the needs of women firefighters. They are designed to comfortably fit the female figure while remaining rugged enough to meet the demands of wildland firefighting.

Made to the same high-quality standards and specifications as regular Strike Team® pants, the women-specific design features a smaller rise and less bulk, allowing for comfortable movement on the fireline.

The pants are available in Navy and Spruce Green, in even sizes 2–14, with the following inseam options:

• Petite: 30 inches
• Regular: 32 inches
• Long: 34 inches

Key Features

• All zippers are reinforced with triple stitching and interior zipper guards.
• Outer leg seams, pockets, pocket flaps, fly and crotch are double-top-stitched.
• Pockets, pocket flaps, belt loops, hook-and-loop tabs, fly and crotch are bar-tacked.
• 2-inch elastic waistband with seven belt loops.
• Zipper fly with snap closure and an interior zipper flap to prevent direct contact with the body.
• Deep front slash pockets.
• Rear pockets with hook-and-loop closure flaps.
• Large side pockets with hook-and-loop closure flaps.
• Leg cuffs have an adjustable hook-and-loop closure system, providing a snug fit around the ankle while wearing boots.

Tencate Tecasafe® Plus Fabrics

TenCate Tecasafe® Plus provides electric arc and flash-fire protection in a comfortable, breathable and lightweight fabric. The product page states that the fabric performs to NFPA 70E and current NFPA standards and lasts longer than flame-resistant treated fabric.

The flame-resistant protection is built into the fabric and will not wash out or wear out. Its special cellulosic fiber content also provides moisture management.

Sizing Chart

• WAIST - Measurement at natural waist, where your body creases when when you bend.
• HIPS - (Seat) Measurement around fullest part of hips/bottom.
• INSEAM LENGTH - Measurement along inseam from crotch seam to bottom edge of cuff.
• FRONT RISE - Measurement from crotch seam to top of waistband at front center.
• BACK RISE - Measurement from crotch seam to top of waistband at back center.

Sizing and Ordering

• EVEN SIZES ONLY.
• Pants come in waist size 27-43; inseam lengths are 30in. petite, 32in. regular, and 34in. long.
• If wearing brush pants over pants, add 1-2 inches to waist size.
