Hose Thread Nipples are used to convert tapered pipe thread (NPT) to a fire hose thread. One end has tapered pipe thread, the other fire hose thread. The hexagon body permits the tapered thread to be permanently attached to a pipe thread. Made from brass with a brushed finish.
The small Male end of a Double Male Increaser is National Pipe Thread (NPT). The large Male end is a fire hose thread.
