Cascade Gravity Sock – 1½" NH

The Cascade Gravity Sock – 1-1/2 in. NH provides a simple, portable way to collect water from an elevated stream, spring, or other flowing water source for wildland firefighting operations.
Constructed from heavy-duty treated canvas duck, the tapered sock is positioned in the water source and secured with stakes, rocks, or rope. A 1-1/2 in. NH hose line attaches to the outlet, allowing gravity to deliver water downhill toward the fire or operating area.

Cascade recommends locating the gathering point at least 100 feet above the fire when terrain and water-source conditions allow.
