Cascade Foot Valve & Strainer

The Cascade Foot Valve & Strainer is designed for fire pump drafting applications where maintaining prime and protecting the suction system from debris are critical. Installed on the submerged end of a suction hose, the full-flow clapper valve helps prevent backflow and keeps the suction line primed when the pump is shut down.
Manufactured from hard-anodized aluminum, the Cascade Foot Valve & Strainer features a reinforced stainless steel screen that helps prevent rocks, vegetation, and other debris from entering the suction hose and pump.

USE WITH CASCADE WATER EJECTORS
Cascade recommends attaching a compatible Foot Valve & Strainer to the suction port of a Cascade High Performance Water Ejector. The foot valve helps maintain prime while the strainer helps prevent foreign material from entering the water supply.
