Husky Aluminum Barrel Strainer
The Husky® Aluminum Barrel Strainer provides a lightweight, durable solution for fire pump drafting from ponds, streams, portable tanks, and other static water sources. The cylindrical strainer attaches directly to hard suction hose and helps prevent rocks, vegetation, and other debris from entering the suction line and pump.
Constructed from aircraft-quality 6061-T6 aluminum, the Husky Barrel Strainer combines high strength with reduced weight for easier handling in the field. A powder-coated NFPA Blue finish provides additional corrosion resistance, while the integrated eye allows a rope or cable to be attached for positioning and retrieval.
