The Ames True Temper Jackson Forestry Shovel is a heavy-duty wildland firefighting hand tool designed for digging, scraping, trenching, and removing debris during fireline construction and mop-up. Its heat-treated solid-shank steel blade and forward-turned step provide the strength and control needed for demanding field use.
A contoured 41" hardwood handle provides leverage for digging and scraping, while the sharpened forestry-style blade is well suited for working soil, loose fuels, and debris along the fireline.
