Vallfirest Gorgui Wildland Firefighting Tools combine multiple fireline functions into a single versatile hand tool for constructing and maintaining control lines across a variety of terrain and fuel types.
Cascade Fire Equipment offers both the Gorgui Classic and Gorgui Multifunctional. Each design combines cutting, raking, scraping, and digging functions to reduce the number of individual hand tools required on the fireline.

GORGUI CLASSIC
The Gorgui Classic uses a removable multi-function cutting blade manufactured from Hardox 450 anti-wear steel. Different cutting and digging edges are incorporated into one blade, allowing the tool to perform raking, stripping, cutting, and digging functions. Its removable head design also simplifies transport and blade replacement.
GORGUI MULTIFUNCTIONAL
The Gorgui Multifunctional uses an aluminum-and-titanium alloy head with individually replaceable anti-wear steel cutting blades. Its blade geometry provides cutting-rake, McLeod-style stripping, and wide- and narrow-hoe functions for working across different terrain and fuel conditions.
