Fire Flail

Fire Swatters or Flails are used to smother fires in light fuels, such as pasture grasses, pine needles, and light hardwood litter in direct attack on range fires. Use flails to knock down the flames, then mop up the fire with water from your backpack pump or by scraping it with a fire rake.
